1. Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of DevDock, including the DevDock web application, browser extension, public sharing pages, export tools, Pro features, and related services.
By using DevDock, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use DevDock.
2. The Service
DevDock is a developer knowledge hub for storing, organizing, searching, sharing, and exporting developer-related materials, including snippets, prompts, notes, commands, links, files, images, and diagrams.
DevDock may include free features and paid Pro features. Pro features may include AI-assisted tools, file and image uploads, increased usage limits, and other features made available from time to time.
DevDock may change, suspend, remove, or limit any feature where reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, product operation, or business reasons.
2a. Discontinuation of Service
DevDock reserves the right to discontinue the service permanently. In the event of a planned shutdown, DevDock will provide at least 30 days' advance notice to registered users via email and/or in-app notification.
During the notice period, users will retain the ability to access and export their available content using the provided export tools.
If you have an active paid Pro subscription at the time of discontinuation, DevDock will provide a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees covering the period after the shutdown date, calculated from the effective shutdown date.
DevDock is not obligated to provide advance notice where discontinuation is required by law, court order, or regulatory authority, or where immediate action is necessary to address a security threat, abuse, or emergency affecting the service or its users.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for all activity under your account unless caused by DevDock's proven breach of these Terms or applicable law.
You must not share access in a way that bypasses usage limits, billing, security controls, or account ownership rules.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you add to DevDock.
You grant DevDock a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, format, index, back up, export, and otherwise use your content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide DevDock.
You are solely responsible for your content, including whether you have the right to store, upload, process, share, or publish it through DevDock.
Do not store secrets, private keys, access tokens, passwords, regulated data, or confidential third-party information unless you are authorized to do so and accept the risks of using an online service.
5. Public Sharing
DevDock may let you create public share links or public discovery pages.
If you create or enable a public share, anyone with access to the link or public page may view the shared content. You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing it.
Disabling or deleting a share may prevent future access through DevDock, but DevDock cannot control copies, screenshots, caches, search-engine indexes, browser history, or third-party records created while the content was public.
6. Pro Uploads and Storage
File and image uploads may require a Pro subscription and may be subject to file type, file size, export, storage, rate, and usage limits.
DevDock is not an archival storage, backup, disaster recovery, or legal-recordkeeping service. You should keep independent copies of important content.
DevDock may reject, remove, quarantine, or restrict files that appear unsafe, unsupported, abusive, unlawful, or outside the intended purpose of the service.
7. Usage Limits
DevDock enforces per-account usage limits that vary by plan. Current limits are:
| Feature | Free | Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Items | Up to 50 | Unlimited |
| Collections | Up to 3 | Unlimited |
| Diagrams | 10 per month | Unlimited |
| Share links | 10 per month | Unlimited |
| AI uses | 3 per month | 100 per month |
| File & image uploads | Not available | Available |
Limits reset at the start of each calendar month. DevDock may adjust these limits at any time with reasonable notice. If you reach a limit, you will receive an error message and may upgrade to Pro or wait for the monthly reset.
8. AI Features
DevDock may provide AI-assisted features through third-party AI providers or AI service providers.
AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, insecure, outdated, or unsuitable for your use case. You must independently review, test, and verify AI outputs before relying on them, especially for code, commands, security, infrastructure, legal, financial, or production use.
DevDock does not guarantee AI availability, provider continuity, model behavior, output quality, or fitness for a particular purpose. DevDock may change AI providers, models, limits, or access rules at any time.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not use DevDock to:
- violate any law, regulation, contract, third-party right, privacy right, or intellectual property right;
- upload or share malware, exploit code intended for abuse, credential-stealing material, phishing content, spam, or harmful automation;
- attack, probe, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass, disrupt, or interfere with DevDock or its providers;
- upload, store, publish, or share harmful images, harmful files, exploitative content, violent content, or content DevDock reasonably considers unsafe or off-purpose;
- upload, store, publish, or share political content, political campaigning, propaganda, political persuasion, political advertising, or political targeting materials;
- impersonate others, misrepresent affiliation, or use DevDock to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others;
- use DevDock in a way that creates legal, security, operational, reputational, or business risk for DevDock.
DevDock may remove content or suspend access where it reasonably believes these Terms have been violated.
10. Billing and Subscriptions
DevDock Pro may be offered through PayPal or another payment processor shown at checkout.
If you subscribe to Pro, you authorize the payment processor to charge the applicable recurring fees for the plan you select, such as monthly or yearly billing.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings or directly through the payment provider.
Monthly plan: Cancellation stops renewal. Pro access continues until the end of the current paid month. No refund is issued for the remaining days.
Yearly plan: Cancellation stops renewal. You will receive a prorated refund for each unused full month remaining in your annual period, calculated at one-twelfth (1/12) of the annual fee per full month. Pro access continues through the end of the current started month. Partial months are not refunded. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.
Except as described above or required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable. This includes downgrades, account inactivity, and cancellation of monthly plans after renewal.
Notwithstanding the above, if you are an Israeli consumer, statutory cancellation rights apply as required by the Consumer Protection Law 5741-1981 and the Consumer Protection Regulations (Cancellation of Transactions) 5771-2010. You may cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase (or from first use, whichever is earlier) and receive a refund, less a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the transaction amount or ₪100, whichever is lower.
If payment fails, is reversed, is disputed, or cannot be verified, DevDock may suspend or downgrade Pro access.
11. Exports and Deletion
DevDock may provide export tools for your available account content, subject to technical limits, rate limits, file limits, storage limits, and temporary availability windows.
Exports may fail, expire, omit unavailable files, or require regeneration. You are responsible for downloading and keeping your own copies.
If you delete your account, DevDock will delete or disable access to account data according to the product's deletion process. Some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, security records, payment records, abuse-prevention records, or other records retained where reasonably necessary or legally required.
12. Third-Party Services
DevDock may rely on third-party providers for payment processing, AI services, hosting, storage, databases, email, analytics, security, rate limiting, logs, and other infrastructure.
DevDock is not responsible for third-party services, outages, policy changes, fees, processing delays, data handling outside DevDock's control, or provider-specific terms.
13. Intellectual Property
DevDock, including its software, design, branding, workflows, interfaces, and service materials, is owned by DevDock or its licensors.
These Terms do not transfer any DevDock intellectual property rights to you. You may use DevDock only as permitted by these Terms.
14. Suspension and Termination
DevDock may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk, fail to pay, misuse the service, upload prohibited content, or if suspension is needed for security, legal compliance, or service operation.
You may stop using DevDock at any time. Certain provisions, including payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law, and content-related responsibilities, survive termination.
15. Disclaimers
DevDock is provided "as is" and "as available."
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevDock disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, reliability, and error-free operation.
DevDock does not guarantee that your content will never be lost, corrupted, accessed, delayed, unavailable, or omitted from export.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevDock will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost content, business interruption, security incidents, or third-party claims.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevDock's total liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid to DevDock for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- USD $50 if you used only free features.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
17. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold DevDock, its owner, contractors, service providers, and affiliates harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of DevDock, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of third-party rights.
18. Changes to These Terms
DevDock may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes — including changes to pricing, core features, or user rights — DevDock will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email and/or in-app notification. Users may cancel their subscription without penalty during the notice period if they do not accept the updated Terms.
If you continue using DevDock after the effective date of updated Terms, you accept the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
The courts located in Haifa District, Israel will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or DevDock, unless applicable mandatory law requires otherwise.
If you are located in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rights that cannot be waived, these Terms do not limit those non-waivable rights.
